Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a slight amber to orange color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white head. Moderate light lace.
The aroma had the normal qualities of an Irish red ale - malty nutty crisp notes, toffee, caramel, toast/breadiness. Low grassy bitter hops.
The flavor leans malty sweet through the previously mentioned aromas and carries the bitterness from the hops slyly in underneath. Low malty aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a sly sessionability about it. Low carbonation. Malty smoothness over my tongue.
Overall, good Irish red ale that I would have again.
