This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Stringy spider web lace.
The aroma has smooth oats, rich nuttiness, roasted coffee beans, sly milk chocolate, and then some dark fruits.
The flavor brings most of the previously mentioned aromas together leaving the dark fruity portion a bit further in the background. Smooth nutty to oaty and light chocolate aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation rides nice and low. Really smooth on my tongue.
Overall, really nice oatmeal stout that I would like to have again.
