Draft at On tap Bar and Grill.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a burnt yellow color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white head. No lacing.
The aroma had some spicy rye malts, light black pepper. Sweet balance of malts. Some bready tastiness.
The flavor balanced between the two nicely. Leans somewhat spicy in the aftertaste and rides into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Malts seem to cut the spiciness so the harshness seems a bit contained and seems to move freely over my tongue.
Overall, good blonde ale with nice creativity to enliven the style.
