Poured into a pint glass, the appearance was a ruddy burnt orange color with a sly white cap of a white head. Mild stringy lace.
The aroma starts with some mild grassy hops and then the toffee to caramel malts. Some biscuity tones slide in nicely.
The flavor leans mildly sweet through the malts. Hop portion hits decently. Mild hops to malt blend in aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation.
Overall, this one was a pretty good ESB that I could have again.
