Poured into a pint glass, the appearance was a moderate pale burnt crispy looking orange color with a thin finger of white foamy head. Sly lacing.
The aroma leans earthy hops with an underscore of clean toast to biscuit malts. Subtle grassiness.
The flavor leans towards the earthy and a crisp malty sweetness. Earthiness and malts play with the aftertaste and find its way into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a sly sessionability about it. Carbonation sits at a nice pace.
Overall, good as an English pale ale. I could have this again with some fish n’ chips.
