Poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a ruddy semi-transparent sort of glossy amber color. Carbonation could be seen rising at a decent pace to fill a one finger white foamy head. Fairly quick dissipation. Mild stringy lace.
The aroma centered around some dry nuttiness and some toasty to bready malts. Light toffee and some caramel malts.
The flavor was malty sweet smooth and then a light tang to it. Sharp bitter crisp malty aftertaste with a sly finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. Mild smoothness.
Overall, decent except for the tanginess, not sure where that came from, but another mostly okay sort of beer by Ore Dock.
