Poured into a pint glass, the appearance was a ruddy mild burnt orange to brown color with a thin bar pour’s kind of slim white head. Quickly dissipated, mild lace.
The aroma had some sweet ruddy earthy dried malts. Mild dried grassiness. Some caramel to toffee and toasty malts.
The flavor leans sweetly smoothed out malts with a mild toasty to earthiness about it, but even the earthiness is mildly smooth yet sweet. No aftertaste but an earthy sweet dry malty sort of finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a great sessionability about it. Carbonation rides nice and light.
Overall, good mild ale, definitely would have again especially with food.
