Poured into a pint glass, the appearance was a ruddy burnt amber to orange color with a sly finger’s worth of white quickly dissipating head. No lacing.
The aroma had some toast, dried earthy grassy tones, and some caramel malts.
The flavor leans ruggedly sweet with the previously mentioned aromas blending well into this taste. Sly earthy bitter malted aftertaste with a quick finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Low carbonation feels good on my tongue.
Overall, nicely done Bitter that would definitely be done well with some fish n’ chips.
