Draft in Harrisonburg. Darl clear maroon color, brown edge head. Aroma of bitter toast. Taste has dark fruit, coffee, cocoa. Odd but tasty enough.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a dark brown color with a large creamy brown head. Good head retention. Aroma of toffee, raisin and a faint smokiness. The taste is toffee, raisin, banana and a mildly hoppy finish. Body is a bit thin for a doppelbock, but it turns out to be really refreshing. Nice beer.
