Poured into a pint glass, the appearance was a dark muddy brown color with a thin quickly dissipating little white to off white foamy head. No lace.
The aroma started off with a sweet caramel/banana/vanilla blend. Subtle clove underneath. Some chocolate.
The flavor leans to the sweet side and starting to bring in subtle sweet wheaty tones. Bumpy sweet wheat with the clove in the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with an airy light wheatiness. Decent sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation.
Overall, not bad as a dunkelweizen. It seems to be on par for the style and I could have again.
