At Vermont Tap House.
They poured this into a snifter.
The appearance was a bronzed golden semi-yellow color. No head. Sly sticky lace at the top of the glass.
The aroma had a big semi-sweet full hoppy to maltiness flowing over a bitter piney to orange-like pulp to bitterness. Tropical sweetness is there but mostly low.
The flavor yields to the sweetness first, but that bitterness does hit the underneath to settle in with a malty kick. Flows nicely into the aftertaste and then on into the finish, fairly quickly.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionable sort of feel over my tongue.
Overall, very nice DIPA that I would have again.
