Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a mug.
The appearance was a black color with a thin off white foamy head that dissipated and left some semi-thick foamy lace.
The aroma started off with some roasty coffee beans, black licorice, and milk chocolate. Vanilla bean sweet and roastiness develops as it warms
The flavor yields to the sweet side initially but gently moves into a graceful blend of the sweet, roasty and a sly amount of bitterness. Blended roasty smooth coffee and chocolate aftertaste flowing into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Medium carbonation. Roast and bitterness is fairly gentle on my tongue.
Overall, pretty good stout exacting all of the traits of what Blackrocks said is there. Very worth my time.
