Poured into an English pint glass, the appearance was a hazy light brown with a finger’s worth of white foamy head. Moderate lace.
The aroma had some toast, caramel, crisp cracker malt. Light grassy bitterness.
The flavor leaned towards the caramel and toasty malt. Gentle semi-sweet cracker malty aftertaste, sly crisp sort of malty finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. Feels fairly smooth along my tongue.
Overall, nice ESB that I would have again.
