Growlette share.
My portion was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a pale burnt bready orange color with a thin fingerโs worth of white foamy head. Evenly dissipates nicely, leaving some structured ample concave lace.
The aroma had some clean sweet grapefruit pulp initially and then light notes of watermelon and then far underneath a delicate pine. Clean cereal malts there for balancing.
The flavor consists of a sweet dryness between the hops and the malts. Bittering piney hops are so far underneath, they barely balance. Semi-sweet dry grapefruit to watermelon aftertaste. Quick wet sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Nice carbonation. ABV felt right.
Overall, nicely done AIPA by a brewer that always seems to get this style down exactly right.
