This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a brown color with a slight transparency about it. Just a cap of a little white head that gently just slid outwards. No lacing.
The aroma had some caramel to toffee malts, light brown sugar, gentle roasty tones. Light spicy to grassy hops.
The flavor leaned to the sweet side and had a slight chocolate underneath. Moderate blend in the aftertaste. Subtle roasty to sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt just right.
Overall, nice American styled brown ale that isn’t overly hoppy but still could bring in some hopheads to at least try.
