Thanks Trevor.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a ruddy amber color with a sly transparency about it. Just a thin white cap of a foamy head that dissipated very quickly.
The aroma had some soft roasty nuts, light grassy hops and then some toast and then the caramel/toffee malt base.
The flavor made a decent effort of blending between the malts and the hops, grassy bitterness - pretty low key. Malt base is there. Dryly grips the aftertaste and evenly flows into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. ABV felt fine with this one.
Overall, good as an amber ale and worthy of having again.
