This was poured into a mug.
The appearance was a dark brown color close to black. Finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at an even pace. Light messy lace.
The aroma had a nice blend of soft roasty to sweet coffee beans, vanilla beans, milk and dark chocolate.
The flavor balanced between the roast and sweet fairly nice. Nice blend in the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation and the ABV felt fine.
Overall, pretty good \"breakfast stout,\" but could be perhaps construed as a breakfast porter, as it did seem just a tad weaker in the body.
