Growler share.
My portion was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a ruddy burnt copper/orange color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated evenly leaving a touch sliding lace.
The aroma started off with apricot/tropical fruitiness sweetly moving forward over a nice malt base. Light grassy tones underneath.
The flavor blends the hops and the malts sweetly and then touching down on a subtle bitterness for balance. Mostly sweet hoppy aftertaste cleanly moving into a blended hoppy to malty finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionable to sipping quality about it. ABV feels there, but somewhat hidden.
Overall, nicely done DIPA. With this being a rotating series, I wonder if they’ll try to eventually bring this back.
