Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a dark brown color with a thin half fingerโs worth of eggshell white foamy head. No lace.
The aroma had some roasted malts, light nuts, dark chocolate, coffee and ends with some milk chocolate.
The flavor does a good job of blending sweet to roast mildly pulling off a nicely blended aftertaste rolling into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. ABV felt fine. Mild roast.
Overall, fairly good beer, perhaps a bit lighter than expected for a stout, but still pulls off an aroma and flavor worthy of wanting to come back to.
