Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a burnt orange almost cloudy / semi-hazy color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white foamy head. No lace.
The aroma had some sweet wheat, apricot, banana esters, and ends with some grassy hops.
The flavor leans towards the sweet side blending the sweet wheat to the malts, banana and apricot. Touches into the aftertaste and on into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it. Nice low ABV felt right.
Overall, American pale wheat ale? In my opinion, that’s what I say as it’s missing the cloves, a bigger head and that kick I usually expect in the finish from the cloves. I didn’t mind it for me.
