Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a snifter.
The appearance was a ruddy burnt orange to copper color with a film of a white foamy head glossing the top and settling out nicely in a decent way. Stringy sliding lace,
The aroma blended soft caramel to toffee malts, a touch of vanilla, dark fruits, and then tobacco/grassiness underneath.
The flavor blended all of the previously mentioned aromas together. All seems to linger into the aftertaste and then on into the finish.
On the palate, tis one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sipping quality about it. Moderate carbonation. ABV was as the brewer suggested. Smooth booziness done nicely. And yes, I had the Kenny Loggins song playing in the background when I copied this in here.
