Poured into a pint glass, the appearance was a dark orange color with a thin bar pour’s kind of slim head that dissipated at an even pace. Slightly messy in it’s lace.
The aroma had a some fruity yeastiness with some wheaty maltiness. Just a touch of white and black pepper.
The flavor yields to the sweetness initially and then hits upon some grassy hoppiness and wheaty malty sweetness. But some hop spice comes out as it warms.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt good.
Overall, worthy Biere de Garde of having again despite it being poured into a pint glass, oh well (bad on McGillicuddy’s if anything) but I knew what was going on with this beer anyways.
