Reviewed from notes.
On tap at the brewpub.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was ruddy golden yellow color with a slight transparency about it. Carbonation could be seen rising to fill a finger’s worth of white foamy head, quickly dissipates. Slight stringy lace.
The aroma had some sweet malty biscuit/breadiness, light grassy hops and that’s about it.
The flavor copied the aroma pretty much spot on, it’s sweet. There’s no aftertaste and has a quick malty finish.
On the palate, this one sat about light bodied with a crisp sweet sessionable quality. ABV really doesn’t seem like what’s stated.
Overall, they said they brewed this with snow from Mount Mansfield. I like the idea but didn’t really change anything, to be honest.
