This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a dark bronzed semi-golden color with a slight transparency about it. Some carbonation could be seen rising. Finger’s worth of white foamy head. Subtle sliding lace.
The aroma had a piney to grapefruity bitter to sweet hoppiness about it. Just a touch of a malty backbone about it, but super subtle.
The flavor yields to the hops and seems to lean towards the bitter side. Same in the aftertaste and on into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine and so did the ABV.
Overall, pretty nicely done IPA that would probably be my go-to if I lived in this area.
