This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a fairly dark amber/red to almost brown color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white head. No lace.
The aroma had a nice blend of sweet to spicy rye opening up into a nice caramel malt backbone.
The flavor copied the aroma fairly nice and had a nicely blended sweet to spicy aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Sturdy ABV seemed like the brewer got that down.
Overall, nicely done rye IPA that I would have again.
