Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a burnt golden color with a thin film of a white foamy head that fell off at a good pace. Mild lace.
The aroma had some soft sweet citrus pulp and a fairly nice corn sweet malt base, light biscuits and a touch of honey.
The flavor leaned towards the malty sweet side with a light malty biscuit-ness sliding into the aftertaste and riding on into the finish, somewhat bitter.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Pretty smooth all around my tongue. ABV felt pretty good.
Overall, worthy APA to have again.
