Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a fairly dark orange color with a thin white head. Quick dissipation, sly messy lace.
The aroma had a blend of caramel/toffee malt up front and then some orange, candied fruit and then some light pine.
The flavor was basically the same through a ruggedly sweet sort of quality running over my tastebuds. Light in the aftertaste. Malty sort of finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Decent carbonation. ABV felt as projected.
Overall, decent as a DIPA, somewhat of the old school nature. Maybe again if offered.
