The appearance was an amber/orange sort of color with a small quarter finger’s worth of head. Spreading speckled lace.
The aroma had some pumpkin sweetness, some allspice and ginger.
The flavor kept the sweet pumpkin and malty sort of body to it. Caramel/toffee tones come out decently. Allspice and ginger seem to play a little bit with some black pepper. All seems to combine decently but there wasn’t any aftertaste. Just a pumpkin malty sort of finish.
The feel was about medium bodied. Malts play a good part in this department and keep some energy against the carbonation which ends up keeping a decent sort of aptitude on my tongue.
Overall, decent pumpkin ale worthy to have again if I lived closer.
