The appearance was a dark copper close to a burnt amber, maybe brown color with a nice looking level foamy head that fell off at a good pace.
The aroma had a good blend of roasty to sweet caramel/toffee malts, good dose of nuts, light cocoa powder, a little bit of cocoa butter and brought in some earthy hops to bitter nicely, somewhat light.
The flavor blended the roast to the sweet pretty nice and brought in a slight sweet graininess to it. Aftertaste was what I wanted in a nice smooth brown ale. Finish was the same.
The feel was about medium bodied with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation felt good. ABV felt good.
Overall, pretty good brown ale I’d have again.
