Growlette share with Doug. Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a soft golden yellow color with a quarter finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off at a moderate pace. Light speckled lace.
The aroma had some citrusy to floral zesty hops up front, fairly bold encasing the malt backbone somewhat firmly.
The flavor leaned towards the zestiness initially and ended up blending fairly nice and clean with some doughy malts. Aftertaste was all about the citrusy and floral hops but wasn’t overbearing. Quick zesty hop finish.
The feel was just under medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt good and proportionate to the ABV.
Overall, pretty nice AIPA that I’d have again. Too bad these guys aren’t closer to me. I’d try their stuff more often.
