Reviewed from notes.
Thanks Mike.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-soft burnt orange/copper to almost amber color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off fairly quick. Not much lace.
The aroma had some sweet citrusy to grassy hops, some light piney-ness and a touch of caramel/toffee malt. Light toast and a little bit of butterscotch came out.
The flavor focused on the sweetness of the blend of the malts to the hops. Some bitterness did come out, but it was fairly quick. Aftertaste blended all previously mentioned notes to follow into the finish, some stickiness.
The feel was just a tad under than medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation and ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, pretty good amber that I could come back to if I could get it.
