Reviewed from notes.
Growler share with my parents during a visit to PA.
The appearance was a fairly dark brown color with a finger and a halfβs worth of semi-tan foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace. Sly speckled lace.
The aroma had some caramel/toffee malts, light nuttiness and ended with some earthy hops.
The flavor was the same blending the sweet to the roast pretty nice. Aftertaste and finish followed suite pretty nice.
The palate was about medium bodied, perhaps just a touch under with a pretty good sessionable sort of smooth feel along my tongue. Fairly low carbonation with a good ABV.
Overall, pretty nice brown ale that I would have again if I could get it.
