Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a semi-hazy burnt copper/amber color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that quickly died off. Light stringy lace.
The aroma had some sweet caramel/toffee malts, light sweet grain, herbal tones, and a little bit of floral hops.
The flavor was mildly sweet through the malts. Nice clean aftertaste. Smooth sweet malty finish.
The palate was between light and medium bodied with a good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, pretty good amber ale that I could have again.
