Can from my parents.
Poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a sly golden bronze color with a cap of a little white foamy head that held and slid off at a mild pace. Not much lace.
The aroma had some sweet and tart blueberries with a semi-resinous/piney bitter hop scrape underneath to level some smooth bitter grassy hop sweet portions. Subtle earth with a touch of wood and then the rye which was leaning towards the sweet side.
The flavor started with the blueberry sweet and tartness to glide into the piney and rye combinations of their sweetnesses. Aftertaste was the same. The finish was moderately stable between the blueberry and the rye.
The palate was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine. Rye spicy harshness didn’t show up in this beer.
Overall, really liked the idea of blending all that they wanted to as a brewery, but I do wish the \"spicy\" component of the rye would have shown up.
