Growler with Henry.
This was poured into a lager glass.
The appearance was a soft glistening amber color with a sly transparency about it. Some carbonation could be seen moderately gliding up towards a cap of a little white foamy head. Just trickles of some light stringy lace.
The aroma had some grassy sweet to earthy spiced hops up front over top of some clean caramel/toffee malts. Subtle biscuit qualities.
The flavor was moderately malty sweet and then the hops presented a touch of bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and somewhat earthy. Finish was abrupt and malty.
The palate was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine. Fairly smooth along my tongue.
Overall, pretty nice amber lager worthy of coming back to.
