Bottle @ home. Unclear deep amber body under a small, dense tan head. Strong and slightly boozy aroma with malt, wood, dry fruit and whisky. Taste is balanced sweet malt, dry fruit, wood, whisky, warming alcohol and balanced bitterness. Fine body with long lasting aftertaste. Aroma and first sip may feel a bit raw and alcoholic, but it falls into place as the flavours settle in. Nice sipper.

Bottle. Distinct and delicious boozy aroma with dark dried fruit, chocolate, some coffee hints and a touch of oak. Hints of licorice. Nice tannins and a good bitterness to balance the sweetness. Perhaps not as complex as I wished for, but certainly worth repeating. 848415 260312

330 ml bottle at a stiff price, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. Black colour, moderate to small tan head. Distinct and boozy aroma of Scotch whisky, oak, brown sugar and dried figs. Warming and rich mouthfeel. Sweet and rich flavour with the same elements as the aroma. Moderate hops.

330ml bottle, thanks to Finn. Shared with him and Leif. Coal black in the glass, bare naked surface, scattered lacing. Attractive on the nose with roasted malts and dried fruits. Quite similar taste of chocolate malts, dried fruits and Belgian yeast strain. Oaky. Warming, long-lived finish. Heavy stuff with decent slow sipper qualities (Tromsø, 10.03.2026).
