Think of it as DDH Ghost in the Machine's cosmic evolution - big, soft, and more tropical than the original. The Galaxy hops bring stone fruit and citrus, Citra adds that signature mango punch, and Strata rounds it out with dank, fruity complexity. Balanced and pleasantly smooth despite its size, this 8% ABV interstellar DIPA goes down easier than you'd expect.

Can at home, shared with James, 6th March 2026. Pours a hazy orange. Aroma is grapefruit, pith and citrus peel. Taste is bitter marmalade, earthy, some tropical notes, but mostly grainy, pithy citrus and pith, grapefruit and oranges, Great series overall

Parish Brewing turns out some decent IPAs. This pint can came from Half Time recently and I do admire the artwork on the label just to start. My Cowtown snifter in place, I take the pour. I see a milky yellow body completed by a slender but consistent cover of fully white foam. The scent is large with hops, citrus and grain. The taste may be that of a hazy style beer but it has a significant west coast presence. Grapefruit, pine, a touch of juice, lime, malt and a small bit of mango to slightly offset the bitterness. Not bad.

Panda thanks to Wingman. Hazy orange gold beer, small and short lived bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, a modest dryness, good fine minerally carbonation. Light pale malts, smooth, a decent sweetness. Cooling pine and plenty of hop spice. Some Strata passion fruit, not punchy but, at least easily detectable. Bright juicy citrus and a fair counterweight of citrus peel bitterness. Some tang. More hop spice on the back end which keeps going well after the finish. Interesting affair.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 04/02/2026.
Murky orange topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is bitter orange, grass, pine resin, grapefruit.
Taste comprises bitter orange, raw pineapple, grass, mandarin, mango pulp.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close spiked with earthy come grassy hop bitterness.
Solid bitter leaning DIPA.

Can thanks to my bro. It pours cloudy creamy golden - yellow with a decent white head. The aroma is fresh, ripe, juicy tropical vibes, pineapple, mango, nectarine, white grape, gooseberry, star fruit, weedy, dank, herbal, orange creamsicle, solero and floury bread. The taste is green, weedy, dank, herbal, drying, floury bread, ripe tropical fruits, mango, nectarine, pineapple, passion fruit, pithy, zesty, grapefruit, touch of peppery spice and a nip of alcohol with a drying, dank finale. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Bright, weedy and fruity. Nice one.

Canned 12/11/25, drunk 1/15/26, as pictured.
Really intense, big aromatics right upon pouring. Big, floral Galaxy with a christmas spice-like potpourri character and dry pineapple from the Strata. Citra ties it together, somewhat, adding softer citrus and tropical fruit, but it remains quite bold and spicy. Malts seem ample, with deep biscuit and white bread. No alcohol, resin, flaw noted.
A lot more mild and less intensely spicy/perfume-like than the nose would suggest. An earthiness, as well as softer, juicy citrus helps see to this, as does a lighter texture allowing a bit more looseness and drinkability instead of thick, intense malt and hop character. Pretty impressively balanced and really showing just about zero problematic Galaxy traits, which is impressive. Another classic Ghost.
