Debut #2: Nitro Oatmeal Cookie Stout is a smooth-bodied oatmeal stout brewed with vanilla beans and cinnamon. Aromas of chocolate, vanilla and spice take you back to grandma’s kitchen. Chewy oats and chocolate malt dominate the palate. The smooth mouthfeel provided by the nitrogen makes this beer the liquid version of an oatmeal cookie.

Astringent charcoal nose. Dark brown, thick tan head, cascading carbonation. Oatmeal and raisin. Char finish. Medium body, creamy. Neat cookie character, but a bit astringent.

Nitro at the brewery. Dark brown, dense creamy tan head. Good retention. Aroma of roasted malt, cinnamon, chocolate. The taste is chocolate, roast, raisin, cinnamon. Thin bodied, mild lingering spice.

Draft at Glen’s Garden Market. Clear dsrk maroon, beige head with good retention. Nice aroma of freshly baked oatmeal cookies dipped in cocoa and coffee. Taste has cinnamon, coffee, brown bread. Light body. Tasty and easy drinking.
