From old tasting notes. Yellow gold color with a huge white head. Nice small bubbles. Light malt aroma . Sweet malt flavor upfront dissipating to a spicy hoppy entanglement of flavor. Light clinging hop aftertaste. Though lacking in complexity, it entices and pleases with a robust character.m

Draft -pours yellow white head - nose/taste of peppercorn, spicy malt, citrus - medium body

Draft - Nice grains. Clear gold with a nice white head. Grainy and bitter, a solid pils.

Draught @ Albion. Clear bright yellow with small off-white foamy head, malt aroma, high carbonation, crisp malt taste, abrupt finish. Very nice specimen of the Pilsner category.

Draft. Clear tellow color. Aroma of peppery straw. Taste is citrus and straw. Decent.

Brown bottle into pilsner glass. A: Lightly golden brightish yellow with a good finger of jagged, well lasting head. Decent lacing. Carbonation seems to lesson quite a bit after a couple minutes. S: Definite bready malts with a spicy note that I attribute to the hops but maybe sort of toasty too. T: Much like the smell but the spicy hop character is much more fleshed out. The heavy bread/toast flavor has not died out though, creating a balance that I find both unusual and pleasant. There is a bottom note that I do not get in the nose, Which I’ll say is pleasantly surprising. M: Light as expected, but surprisingly "there" with a slight bitter oiliness that turns dry at the finish. Carbonation is a bit light but certainly passable. O: Impressive! This is what I’ve been enjoying finding in the pilsner style. Straight simple and refreshing. Quite distinctive beer but not much to overcomplicate or muck up the taste. Refreshing as hell but way too good for the lawnmower! Too bad this is so expensive at $12/6 or I’d buy it regularly.

Another pilsener without much good saaz hops. Pours golden with good head and lacing. Finishes with light bitterness. Smells nice. Some sweetness here. Watery texture. On tap at DC Summerfest.

Bottle: Pours clear, yellow-gold with a whipped white head. Lemon, barley malt, sour grain aroma. Taste is grain, grassy bitter hops.... Pretty nice Pils.

GABF 2013. Pours a clear golden appearance with a white head. Cereal, a bit grainy, herbal, light grassy, floral aroma. Pretty nice noble hops in the flavor along with some lightly toasted malts and light lemon. Ok.
