A complex, dark & vinous sour brown ale matured for 10 months in Three Clicks Petite Syrah red wine barrels, then aged in stainless steel tanks for an additional 3 months on 450 pounds of whole bing cherries; boldly fruited on the nose and on the palate, with notes of brown bread, cocoa & toffee leading to zesty acidity in the finish.

Draft at the brewery. Poured a dark, slightly muddy ruby brown color witha small light tan head. Aroma was light tartness, sour, cherry skins, some woody vanilla notes. Flavor was light oak, sour cherries. Pretty tasty.

Draft at the source. Clear maroon color, tan head. Nice aroma of vinous chicolate covered cherries. Taste has brandied cherries dipped in port wine with subtle plums and prunes and a soft sourness. This would be a good beer to give to a wine drinker who says "I don’t like beer." It would be a game changer for them.
