Brewed with fresh cropped elder flowers and yarrow flowers provided from our friends at the Washington Youth Garden. Open fermented with brettanomyces and lactobacillus, this beer hearkens back to the sacred gruit ales of the past. Go ahead, smell the flowers...

Draft at the source. Hazy pale yellow color, white ice cream cone head. Huge floral aroma on a dank and earthy background. Taste is bitter, herbal, peppery, earthy. High carbonation is a bit rough on the palate. Interesting and unique.

Ordered this one by accident thinking I only wanted a taste and ended up liking it a lot more than I thought. Pours blonde with ok head and good lacing. Nice light lactobacillus and only a hint of bretta. Finishes with light sourness, some hay infusion. Very nicely balanced. Tap at brewpub.
