(Brewed in Collaboration with Mothfire Brewing Company) // Draft + VERY LIMITED Cans on FRIDAY
Our friends at Mothfire share a lot of the same thoughts and processes when it comes to crafting and refining our beers. And, of course, we couldn’t resist a West Coast IPA—purely out of love for the style. Mid Kid is aptly named for the folks who don’t always raise their hands first, but still make the biggest impact. Everyone knows the oldest gets the glory. The youngest gets the attention. But the middle kid? That’s the one who figures out how to stand out without standing in the spotlight. Quietly confident. Surprisingly bold. A little misunderstood—but always essential.
Lean base of Pilsner malt and a touch of white wheat. Hopped judiciously with Citra Cryo, Nelson Sauvin, Tropical Fusion and Riwaka Hop Kief and fermented clean with our House Lager Yeast. Punchy citrus, bright dank weed and stone fruit deliciousness.
Long story short, making collab beers is a lot of fun. Seeing how other brewers manage their process, design their beers and execute the whole process is enlightening. We love to see what others are doing and how they’re doing it. It was an honor making beers with these great friends and colleagues of ours.
