1-, 2-, 3- & 4-year-old lambic. The blend aged for more than two years in an old Madeira barrel.
Madeira is a fortified wine from the Portuguese island of the same name. For this blend we used a Dry Madeira cask, not a sweet one, adding a refined, structured acidity and subtle nutty notes to the lambic. The name You Only Live Twice comes from the 1967 James Bond film. While not filmed in Portugal, the famous wedding scene of Sean Connery's Bond inspired a later homage in On Her Majesty's Secret Service, which was filmed in Portugal.
