Berries & Cream Smoothie is a heavily fruited sour ale that we brewed with a base of pale barley malt, wheat malt, and flaked oats.
It was fermented with a special, lactic acid producing yeast strain and then conditioned on heaps of blackberry and raspberry, along with cream cheese icing.
Berries & Cream Smoothie pours a deep, vibrant red with violet hues into a glass and leaves behind frothy rings of fruity foam with each gulp.
It opens with aromas of sweet berries and decadent cream, drinks with a luscious medium body, and closes with a refreshingly tart, fruity finish.
We get notes of freshly picked, tart raspberries, blackberry jam fizz, rich cream cheese vanilla icing, berry parfait, SweeTart candies, lemon cake, and blended wild berry smoothie.
