A dark offering from our barrel room (and our line of classic cinema villains of yore), Captain Howdy possesses beguiling aromas of coconut and hazelnut along with oodles of layers of chocolate, fudge and vanilla, all rounded out with a perfectly balanced sweetness. Tastes like an Old Testament chocolate bar. Demonically good, this stout.

Poured black in color, almost no head.
Heavy malty with honey, maple syrup, some coconut and sweetness. Full of flavours though, barrel showing gently.

Sweet coconut overdose with loads of sugary syrup, hints of toffee, nutty notes and earthiness, faint oaky woody notes. Heavy but quite tasty pastry overdose
