Formerly Known as Bourbon Abominable
Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Winter Ale

This year’s release of B-Bomb is aged in 8–12-year-old American Oak bourbon barrels and is a blend of 9, 12, and 24-month old barrel-aged Winter Ale. B-Bomb achieves distinct bourbon, oak, cacao, leather, toffee, and dark coffee notes from its extended barrel aging and barrel blending. Each barrel contributes a different note, and combining each barrel to create a coherent tone is a distinct art and true pleasure. Please do enjoy this unique barrel-aged ale today but know that B-Bomb will age gracefully for at least another 5 years. Don’t Be Afraid To Be Abominable.

Down & Dirty: 2-Row Pale, Crystal-120, Munich, Roast Barley, Carafa-2, and Chocolate malts with Columbus, Willamette, and US Goldings hops.
ABV: 15.4%
IBU: 50
Color: Dark black, opaque
Rich aromas of dried fig, prune, caramel, molasses, and brown sugar, lead into layers of chocolate-dipped raisin, toffee, and warm whiskey. The oak barrel aging brings subtle leather and vanilla depth, rounding into a smooth, full mouthfeel with a gentle, lingering warmth. Bold, balanced, and decadent.

Availability: Releases late November each year, limited.
Fresh Range: Age this beer, or try one now...go on.

Waxed bomber. Aroma has notes of chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, wood, tobacco. Pours black with a thin tan head that reduces to a ring fairly quickly. Taste is bittersweet, savory, boozy, strong. Good, but needs more time to mellow out I think.
