Appearance: thick brown close to dark color with a finger's worth of eggshell white foamy head which dissipated slyly to leave some messy lace
Aroma: smells like chocolate chip cookies dipped in milk, subtle roast underneath
Flavor: tastes like chocolate chip cookies dipped in milk; slight aftertaste of chocolate chip cookies
Texture: medium bodied, somewhere between a sipper and being sessionable, nothing cloying (though I was expecting it), finishes like chocolate chip cookie dough
Overall: nicely done pastry stout worthy of returning to as a dessert beer.
