Cremiger, nur leicht röstiger Beginn, da eine leichte aber doch unpassende Säure dazwischenkommt. Moderat würzig, angenehm bitter, die Säure verschwindet mit der Zeit. Spritzig, minimal schokoladig, ansteigende Röstigkeit. Dunkelmalzig, überraschend spritzig und leicht nach Lakritz im Abgang. 9/9/10/10/10/10

330ml can. Opaque, darkest brown colour with small to average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Roasty, dark malty and herbal-grassy, hoppy aroma, hints of liquorice, salty liquorice, a touch of woodruff, eucalyptus, whiffs of mustard seed. Taste is bitter, roasty dark malty and mildly bitter, herbal-grassy hoppy, hints of woodruff, mint, some liquorice, salted liquorice, a touch of mustard seed; minimally ashy finish.
Oily-watery texture, dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation.
Quite herbal and spicy - not bad.

Pretty good. Would perhaps be better with old world hops , a hint more bitterness, and a bit more roastiness.
