Our Pacific Red is a modern interpretation of the classic red ale inspired by the American Pacific Coast. The deep, coppery red color comes from specialty malts that give bready caramel tones and a lightly toasted nutty character.

Can 44 cl. Pours a hazy, reddish brown with a small, beige head, Biscuit and caramel aroma - but no hops whatsoever. Rich, malty body of toffee and caramel and againabsolutely no bitterness making it not really American in style. But pleasant enough. 290326

Can. A cloudy dark amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt, and nuts. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and bread, leading to a bitter finish. 6/3/6/3/12

clear amber to light brown, light brown bubbly but lasting head.
really nice malty bisquity and crisp hoppy aroma, very malty and intense for a braunstein, hops are intense enough to be noticed but does not disrupt the very nice malty dominance. pretty good high-intensity balance.
flavor is malty, nutty, bitter malty, bitter hoppy, quite european in its flavor, reminds me of more traditional beer i've tasted in london pubs, with a twist of course, but flavor wise.. also reminds me of the best of spanish macro's when they try to do something a bit more intense. it's almost like there are notes from booze soaked wood chips. Also tastes like the better half of danish brown ale.
