50 cl bottle, BBE 02.03.2012
Rather light, empty and somewhat stale aroma with sweetish malt and some honey. Flavour is metallic with some sweetish honey and hints of solvent‐like, stinging alcohol. Too sweet and too strong on savors.

500ml bottle. Clear pale golden colour with small macropore white head. Sweet caramel malt aroma, a sweet note that comes near to strawberry, minimal spicy note. Sweet malty taste, rather light, fresh hop note in the end. Not too heavy - drinkable.

Bottle, from trade with Papsoe. A clear one, golden in color and with a decent, off-white head. Fruity nose with a grainy touch. Pleasant hoppyness. Nice bitterness in the mouth, both initially and in the end. Full body, smooth and with a nice level of carbonation. Fruity finish with some malts and the already mentioned bitterness. Drinks easy, tastes nice and it’s definitely a beer I could have more of. 110218

Vom fass at the brewpub. Golden. The aroma has some herbal hops and a fair amount of bready malts. Herbal character - starts with a fair bit of sweetness and then fades to a mild hop bitterness with slight acidity . Solid, but not upper echelon Bamberg bock.

Bottle at the Euston Tap. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a slight, bubbly head. Honey malts on the nose. Flavor is quite sweet, nicely bready, with notes of honey and caramel. Medium in body with soft carbonation. Finishes sweet and malty with caramel and bread dominating. Not bad.

Bottle, 6.2%. Ashtray aroma, better than it sounds. Clear yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour is clean, has a hint of dust. Not really caramelly. Just as much a clean strong lager as a Bock.
